I live in one of most densely populated areas in Central Europe. Wide open landscapes do not exist. But there are small green islands here and there. These are the places I seek out during outings on the weekend or on smaller trips. The images in this gallery are all taken in areas close to where I live. Most of them in a driving distance of 20 minutes. These place ground me when I am feeling stressed about daily life, they let me forget all the worries, they give me happiness, they let me feel safe and secure - These landscapes are my home - a place where I belong.
