Autumn is a particularly beautiful, but also very ephemeral, season for landscape photographers. Mainly the deciduous trees change from their green to many different colors. Mainly, of course, yellow, orange and red. The blaze of color with fog, which is particularly common in autumn, and atmospheric weather create magical moods in many places. Especially in the early morning and evening hours, when the sun is low, these colors are intensified again. After a few weeks or even a few days, everything is over and the "dreary" season begins.
The picture shown here was taken last year in the Eifel. The two old beech trees particularly stood out in their surroundings. I particularly liked the contrast between the warm tones of the leaves and the cold tones in the background.
