The Soca in Slovenia is considered to be one of the most beautiful rivers in the Alps. Located in the middle of the Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps. On our trip through the Alps, we really wanted to go to Slovenia. However, since it was not clear at the time of planning which countries would allow entry due to Covid, we only planned a day trip. So we set off from Austria in the direction of the Soca Valley in one day. We shouldn't be disappointed.

Crystal clear turquoise water flows down the Soca. The river is framed by the steep mountains. A real feast for the eyes and definitely worth another visit with more time.
