A lonely stream in the forest

This time the photo of the month was taken in a forest in the Rhineland. Deep in the forest, far away from roads, this stream meanders through the forest. In March our forests are usually very barren. All plants and animals are waiting longingly for the spring awakening. The scene is therefore not very attractive at first. No snow, no green on the trees, nothing blooming, dried up leaves from last autumn are lying around ... and yet I like the scene very much. I can't wait to visit this place again in spring when everything is shining in fresh green.
