A few days ago I came back from a spontaneous photo and camping trip in the Black Forest. Some pictures were taken from viewpoints. Most of the pictures, however, were taken on streams and waterfalls. Fortunately for me, it had rained a lot in the days and weeks before, so all the streams, rivers and especially the waterfalls had a lot of water.
The picture shown here was taken at a well-known waterfall in the northern Black Forest. It is a popular photo opportunity and hiking destination at the same time. Still, I am sure that most of you will not recognize the waterfall in this picture. I chose the section because the slightly protruding rock covered with lush greenery on the left in the picture has roughly the same shape as the waterfall. The two main elements in the picture are particularly nicely separated by the natural shadows; left and right outside, as well as in the center of the picture.
