Autumn is coming to the German heather - where birch trees and ferns meet

Another month in which I didn't manage to take photos ... I used the time to edit some pictures from last year. I also stumbled across this recording. A scene from a heather as can be found in many places in Germany.

It was the middle of October when I was traveling here. The birch trees had already started to discolor their leaves. Even if only slightly, but in any case already visible!

The last light of the day fell into this clearing. The warm and flat light of the sun provided a very special shine on the light trunks of the birch trees.

The mixed color palette of the ferns complete the whole scene!
