Fog and sunbeams on early morning

Fog or haze are conditions that a landscape photographer often wants and rarely gets. The chances of fog were very good this morning. So, before going to work, I went to an area with which I am very familiar. Once there, the conditions were very sobering at first.

There wasn't much too much of the forecast fogmarry. So I got up and walked the area a little. I was already on the way back to the car when the sun was high enough to create these rays of light through the haze. Not exactly what I had in mind but still very satisfied I made my way to work.
