Autumn in Germany is still in full swing. We passed the heyday of foliage discoloration a few days ago. Personally, I have never experienced the colors of autumn in Germany as intensely as this year. It's probably because I was able to spend a lot of time outside this year.
I often used the short time that was left after work in the evening to take some photos. Even the last weekends were fully booked with photo time. Since we mostly experience bare and unfortunately dreary winters without snow here in western Germany, this was probably the last opportunity to take interesting pictures for a long time.
The photo of the month was taken this month in the Eifel, more precisely very close to the Eifel National Park.
After work, I drove to this river or stream valley. As the sun set very early, I didn't have much time in place. So I'm all the more satisfied that I found this scene pretty soon.
The autumn leaves on the stones in the foreground are the highlight of this shot for me. The bubbling water of the small waterfall has a great contrast to the dark water. The glowing green and yellow in the upper area gives the image in the background another colored area.
