Canyonlands National Park in the far east of Utah is a breathtaking place. The park is divided into 3 different main areas. The "Island in the Sky" area is certainly the most visited area. The canyon landscapes were created by two large rivers, the colorado river and the green river. The picture shows the "green river overlook". A few miles downstream, the green river joins the colorado river. The picture was taken at the beginning of October 2019. Since I did not come to take pictures in the last month, I allow myself to show a somewhat "older" picture this month. At sunset some onlookers gathered at the viewpoint. Immediately after the sun went down, the first began to leave the place. This picture was taken about 20 minutes after sunset.
