Reflection in the flood at the Sieg

Every year in spring, the meadows of our rivers are flooded by the snowmelt. This year in March, the Siegaue was inundated in particular by the persistent heavy rain.

The masses of water create completely "new landscapes" in this way. These temporary changes ensure that familiar landscapes are put into a new picture. This is how this recording was made. The calm and shallow water make for an almost perfect reflection. This reflection paired with the lighting mood shortly after sunset make this picture an interesting shot.
