Sunset by the sea

The "Schouwen-Duiveland" is an island and at the same time a municipality in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The area is popular destination for tourists from all over the area. Especially on long weekends, visitors from western Germany flock towards the coast. During this year's visit, I managed to get up early for the first time to photograph the sunrise on the beach. The entire coastline is relatively bare with little opportunity for exciting foregrounds. However, the tides, waves and sand create interesting formations on the bottom. This is how calm-looking recordings like this one can be captured.
